Emperors Palace’s GM: Hotels and Resorts Operations, Wayne Hill and the resort and casino’s Hotel Operations Manager, Jean Hanekom point out the latest accolade won by the Palace of Dreams’ 5-Star D’oreale Grande Hotel - the prestigious Best International Airport Hotel award. The best hotels from 47 countries across the globe competed for one or more of the coveted International Hotel Awards with the winners recently announced at a gala dinner in London. Each entry was subject to extensive scrutiny by the International Hotel Awards’ judging panel, chaired by Sir David Michels, retired Chief Executive of the Hilton Group, who is currently President of both the Tourism Alliance and Institute of Hospitality and it is a huge feather in the Palace of Dreams’ cap to have won one of these awards.
