Before the start of the June school holidays Peermont Children’s Trust Manager, Thomas Masango visited the seven primary school aftercare centres supported by the Trust in Ekurhuleni to deliver food parcels to help keep centre learners nourished  during the holidays. On Monday morning, June 18, he visited Nageng Primary School Aftercare Centre in Vosloorus and assisted the centre’s practitioners, Ingrid Moake, Matseko Makgalemele and Salfi Mabowa hand out parcels to these grateful learners. Apart from these parcels learners from the centres, which have 22 affiliated primary schools, also get new uniforms at the start of each new school year, are treated to a Christmas party annually and benefit from a feeding scheme and supervised aftercare during the school term.
