The Peermont Education Trust awards full scholarships to top students from the Ekurhuleni  area that they may complete a study programme of their choice.
On the 14 March 2018 Luleka Mhlakaza and Gavaza Shingange, both scholarship recipients, graduated in Hospitality Management from the University of Johannesburg.
The students are selected from disadvantaged areas throughout Ekurhuleni and the scholarship covers tuition, accommodation and books. The trust has sponsored a total of 120 graduates over the years on a wide variety of courses, including engineering, finance, biotechnology, physics and computer science.
