Eruditio, a specialist enterprise and supplier development consulting and training organization, based at Denel Aviation’s Kempton Park Campus in Bonaero Park received funding of R140 127 from the Trust which was used predominantly for office equipment like desks, laptops, desk computers and overhead projectors. 

The company, established by the husband and wife team of Joel and Shirlinia Emmanuel in 2012 and now comprises a team of four staff members, assists large and qualifying small enterprises in developing and implementing ESD programmes in line with their mandate and as prescribed by the revised B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. 

Eruditio has also developed SA’s first mobile app aimed at guiding prospective entrepreneurs through the maze of regulatory compliance of starting a business in SA. This is essentially a “how-to” app that simplifies the start-up process for business-minded youth but also features components that help fledgling businesses grow and stay motivated.
