Established in 2009 by Yvonne Matshinye and Cavin Ramulongo,  Finecast is currently undergoing a three year mentorship and Incubation programme at SEDA’s Base Metals Incubator t/a Lepharo, a small business incubator based at Struisbuilt in Springs, Ekurhuleni. 

Despite being part of an incubation programme, Finecast, which predominantly manufactures corporate promotional gifts using a centrifugal casting process, already boasts clients like Anglo-Zimela, Impala Platinum and Proudly South Africa, just to mention a few.

In an effort to become an even bigger player in the market, the company approached the EPCoCT for funding to purchase new computers to create better artwork, a 3D printer, vinyl cutter, extraction fan and grinding machines.Much to their delight, they received the grant and with the new equipment purchased, they are able to increase productivity creating employment for five staff members.  

They are currently negotiating with Massmart to become a supplier to the company.By giving this funding, Emperors Palace, through the EPCoCT, has once again demonstrated its commitment to making a significant contribution towards supporting sustainable community development in Ekurhuleni.
