It was a big day for CANSA, The Peermont Childrens Trust and the Peermont Education Trust on Thursday, February 9 when Emperors Palace presented these three worthy causes with an amazing donation of a whopping R1.7-million (in total). The money, proceeds raised during the Garden of Lights held at the Palace of Dreams over the festive season, was handed to CANSA Corporate Relationship Manager, Munnik Marais, Pretoria and The Peermont Childrens Trust Manager, Moitheri Ratshitanga by Peermont Hospitality Manager, Dave Milne (left) and Peermont CEO, Nigel Atherton (right). A thrilled Marais collected a cheque for R500 000 on behalf of CANSA while Ratshitanga collected cheques of R600 000 each for the two other charities.
