As we approaching the end of the year and everyone is in a jolly mood, we shouldn’t forget that there are families who would not have much to be jolly about.
From 27 – 30 November the Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT) handed out food hampers to all the 7 Aftercare Schools that they support. A total number of 630 food hampers were handed out to Welamlambo Primary (Tembisa), R.P Maphanzela Primary (Tokoza), Reahile Primary (Katlehong), Fortune Kunene, Nageng Primary, Thembimfundo Primary (Vosloorus), Khangezile Primary (Kwa-Thema) were the schools that received food hampers.

These food hampers will at least make the festive season a little more festive for these kids and their families. 
Peermont Children’s Trust provides social, educational and emotional upliftment to children in disadvantaged areas of Ekurhuleni Metro Council, primarily through food, educational toys, school uniform and ensuring a safe and secure environment to do homework to disadvantaged learners who are mostly orphans and kids from child headed homes.
