Looking smart ... A few of the happy learners from RP Maphanzela, Khehlekile and Umkhatizwa Primary Schools in their new school uniforms they received from the Peermont Childrens Trust (PCT) during a handover function at RP Maphanzela in Thokoza on Friday afternoon, January 30. With them are Trust chairperson, Tshidi Madima, the host school’s principal, Arthur Mashele, Ekurhuleni MEC of City Planning and Economic Development, Clr Bennett Nikani and Trustee, Vusi Zwane who assisted in distributing the uniforms to the learners. About 750 children that attend the nine aftercare centres supported by the Trust in the disadvantaged areas of Ekurhuleni that fall in the Emperors Palace catchment area benefit from this annual project.
