On a cloudy Friday morning on the 1 December, 406 children from all over Ekurhuleni were treated by the Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT) to a day of fun, sun, swimming and treats. Thomas Masango the Peermont Children’s Trust Administrator  wanted to do something a little different and also something that would have a lasting memory for the kids and their teachers.

Cedar Junction & Theme Park was the ideal venue just outside Pretoria, the excitement on the children’s faces was priceless and it’s a moment to warm one’s heart. The aim of the day was to treat the children and also give back to them for their commitment in attending aftercare the whole year. 
The schools that were taken out to Cedar Junction Welamlambo Primary (Tembisa), R.P Maphanzela Primary (Tokoza), Reahile Primary (Katlehong), Fortune Kunene, Nageng Primary, Thembimfundo Primary (Vosloorus), Khangezile Primary (Kwa-Thema). 

Peermont Children’s Trust provides social, educational and emotional upliftment to children in disadvantaged areas of Ekurhuleni Metro Council, primarily through food, educational toys, school uniform and ensuring a safe and secure environment to do homework to disadvantaged learners who are mostly orphans and kids from child headed homes.
